The Global Commentator provides an online platform for students and professors of politics to write engaging opinion articles on news and current affairs. The platform provides a network of editors in order to ensure high-quality articles. Thereby, The Global Commentator tabs a currently unused resource, which is the expert knowledge of social science students. All politics magazines have one common weakness: partsanship. Because of this, newspapers and politics magazines remain relatively onesided. This is where The Global Commentator differs. We allow every articles to be challenged by our network of authors. Thereby we offer our readers access to interesting articles and debates. Additionally, we differ from traditional magazines since we are completely crowdsourced and operate a global network of authors and editors. Hence, we are able to enhance the quality and quantity of our articles by improving and expanding our network, without being faced by a large increase of costs.
